Description:

An article studying the Aliab Dinka uprising and suppression that occurred as a result of the Anglo-Egyptian occupation of Southern Sudan and attempt to establish order. The Dinka tribe is an ethnic group in Southern Sudan. Their original habitat is distributed between the Bahr el Ghazal region, the Jonglei state, areas of Abyei, the Unity State and the Upper Nile state.
