A paper written originally in 1909 studying the land customs and tenure in Singa District. Senga is a city located in the state of Sennar in Sudan on the west bank of the Blue Nile River at an altitude of 439 meters above sea level, about 360 km from the capital Khartoum to the southeast, and about 60 km from the city of Sennar. It is the capital of Sennar State and is distinguished by the diversity of its natural and population environment, its animal wealth and its resources.
