On ʿAlī Farfār’s attempt to send a letter to the Khalīfa which was blocked due to the rebellion of the Jaʿalīn; ʿAlī Farfār sent the previously mentioned letter to ʿUthmān Diqna and the latter appointed the camel post to bring it to the Khalīfa.
