ʿUthmān Diqna informs Muḥammad al-Zākī ʿUthmān that he has arrived to the mountains of Arkawīt. He found a church there, which he destroyed. As the local tribes refuse to submit to him and are preparing to fight him, he asks that ammunition be sent to him from Berber, as he has little of it.
