On ʿAbd Allāh Abū Bakr’s petition to the Khalīfa on the subject of the female slave who was with him in Tūkar and whom he had lost in the confusion of the retreat from this town. As he learned that she was now with a man from the Shukriyya, ʿAdlān ʿAwaḍ al-Karīm, he asked the latter to give her back to him, which was refused. ʿAbd Allāh Abū Bakr asks the Khalīfa to support his claim.
