On the sale of ivory; the Khalīfa asks ʿUthmān Diqna to supervise this, inform al-Majhdūb Abū Bakr, his deputy in Tūkar to watch over the operation and keep this secret. ʿUthmān Diqna replies to Khalīfa that he will follow his instructions.
