Khāṭir Ḥamīdān and his men have come to Tūkar, according to the order of the Khalīfa, to join the new Mahdist camp. He was hoping that he would find there enough resources for his party, but this did not materialise, despite numerous requests to the treasury. In last resort, he will write to the Khalīfa.
