Awrīsh ibn Ḥāmid informs ʿUthmān Diqna that since the latter appointed him to the muqaddamiyya (brigade) of Muṣṭafā Hadal, no one came for jihād. In agreement with his party, most of them from the Damīlāb, he decided to join the party of Muḥammad ibn Mūsā Diqna. 02/01/1306
