Description:

Sharif al-Hindi Palace, located in Burri in east Khartoum, was the home of Sharif Yusuf al-Hindi, who was the influential leader of the small Hindiya tariqa (a religious brotherhood founded in Sudan). In 1913, he settled in Burri al-Lamab, then a village in the Khartoum suburbs.
