Anecdotes about teaching.
In an interview with Sudan Memory at her home in Burri, Griselda spoke at length about her life, ranging from her childhood in 1920s England to conditions under the new transitional government in Sudan. The recording has been cut down into audio clips of varying lengths, including a longer segment in which Griselda talks about meeting and marrying Professor Abdallah, her first visit to Sudan and life at Bakht al-Rida in the 1950s, the couple’s work postings to Nigeria and Morocco in the 60s and 70s, Professor Abdallah’s awards and his final days living with the effects of a stroke in the 2000s. Several of the audio clips refer to specific groups of images available to view in Griselda’s collection included in Sudan Memory.
