Description:

The Grand Mosque is situated in the centre of old Khartoum, beside Khartoum’s Central Station. The mosque was built during the Turkish rule in Turkish-Islamic style and accommodates up to 10,000 people for prayers. It hosts an institute for the training of Islamic scholars.
