- Description:
- Griselda and Abdallah in their home at Bakht al-Rida, Teacher Training College, where the couple settled after travelling back to Sudan. The big spacious house was a blessing after the cramped living conditions in London. This house was designed by and belonged to Taffy Griffith, the founder of Bakht al-Rida, and was different from the other teachers' houses. It had a flag pole outside where Griselda hoisted the Sudanese flag on independence day.
